This file updates your TDS Recon data collector with Windows Mobile 2003 to Survey Pro version 4.5.3. This file includes the sample Job files and geodetic files (for GPS and Max).

Note to Trimble S6 and VX users: Survey Pro 4.5.3 includes SNP R3.2.12 for Trimble S6 and VX support. This SNP component requires Trimble S6 and VX firmware R5.1.16 or newer. Please contact your Trimble dealer about getting your S6 or VX firmware updated prior to installing Survey Pro 4.5.3 on your data collector.

• Important Note: You MUST first upgrade your Recon firmware to version 4.2.3 (or greater) BEFORE you install Survey Pro 4.3 or greater on your Recon computer.

It is a chargeable upgrade to install Survey Pro 4.x on a Recon running Survey Pro 3.8.3 or earlier.

If your Recon has Windows CE .NET, you must upgrade your Recon to Windows Mobile 2003 in order to upgrade to Survey Pro 4.0 or greater.

To use this file, connect your Recon to your PC via ActiveSync and run this file on your PC. The setup program will install the software onto the Recon via the ActiveSync connection.

It is important that any customer who installs this update should also update ForeSight DXM to version 3.1.1 or higher, if they use ForeSight DXM. The ForeSight DXM 3.1.1 update replaces geodetic components that deal with the Coordinate System Database (CSD) files. The CSD file format has changed and therefore there will be incompatibility problems if ForeSight DXM is not updated.
