TDS Recon Firmware version 6.0.2 and Windows Mobile 6.0, for Recon handheld computers.

Instructions: Download this file to your PC. Execute the firmware upgrader program (the file you're about to download) on your computer and follow its instructions.

Before installing this firmware you need to copy all data files to your PC. Also, be prepared to reinstall all of your programs. When you install this firmware, you will lose all data and programs that are currently on your Recon.

Please Note:

• It is a chargeable upgrade to install Windows Mobile 6.0 on a Recon currently running Windows Mobile 5.0.
• Windows Mobile 6.0 CANNOT be installed on a Recon currently running Windows Mobile 2003. This Windows Mobile 6.0 firmware is only compatible with X-Series Recon handheld computers that shipped with Windows Mobile 5.0.
• Survey Pro software users will want to record their Registered Module key prior to installing this firmware. You can find this key by selecting File on the Survey Pro main menu, and then click Registered Modules to see your current code. You will need to re-enter this code after you install the new firmware and reinstall your Survey Pro software.
• After upgrading to 6.0.2 firmware, it is not possible to downgrade a Recon back to either Windows Mobile 5 or to 6.0.1 firmware unless the Recon is returned to TDS for service.
