SETs mode works on guns with BIOS 1.11 or newer. To see the Bios press the [FNC] key then the 9 key. Nikon instruments that support the SETS protocol may be operated under either LIETZ or SETS. Set the "Data OUT" feature inside the Nikon Setup to "RSNikon" or "RS232 Nik" to send the shot data out to the DC. To get to the setup screens, turn the gun off and hold the 2nd Function key while turning the unit back on. Nikon DTM-300 is not "hard coded" to 1200 baud when SETs is selected. You must manually change the baud rate on the Gun.
