Why can't I Transfer on my port with a modem on it? The software transfer protocol cannot compete with the modem on the port. Putting a data transfer switch on the port will not resolve the conflict as the modem "driver" will still claim the port as its own. For data transfer SL needs sole access of a COM port. |
