Choice: There's a Recon to fit your data collection needs and budget. Choose from the Recon or the new Recon NX, both available in 200 MHz and 400 MHz models.

Price: The Recon NX starts at just $1,399 MSRP with TDS Survey Standard software. You'll see a big jump in capabilities over your old HP 48GX—for about the same price. Contact your dealer for pricing on all the Recon models.

Expansion: The Recon provides the versatility to grow with your needs. With the Recon's two CompactFlash slots, you can add memory and transfer data by simply pulling out the card. Add a Bluetooth card, and you can communicate with Bluetooth-enabled total stations or GPS receivers without bulky cables. (Please note that the Recon NX model does not include expansion slots.)

Pocket PC: Take advantage of all Survey Pro's features. See color map views and graphics, plus with the Windows Mobile 2003 operating system you can run Pocket versions of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer.

#1 data collection software: Since Survey Pro has been the #1 choice of land surveyor since 1995, anyone you hire probably already knows how to use it. And the Recon is designed to make it easy for you to use all of Survey Pro's features and capabilities.¹

Sunlight readable display: Recon's color touch-screen display is bright and clear, even in full sunlight.

Ultra rugged: You can count on your Recon to perform reliably and keep your data secure under the toughest field conditions. The Recon meets tough military standards for drops, vibration and temperature extremes. You can use your Recon in driving rain or at dusty job sites.

Lightweight: Recon weighs just 17 oz. with a comfortable grip so it won't weigh you down on even the longest day in the field.

Long-life battery: The Recon's rechargeable battery gives you a full 15 hours. Plus, there's also a new AA PowerBoot module that lets you work for 8 to 16 hours on just two AA batteries—you can leave your AA batteries in the truck in case you ever forget to recharge your Recon.

Proven: You can depend on TDS to continue providing field-proven data collection systems to help make your work more efficient, and more productive. And you can also count on TDS to continue improving survey hardware and software based on feedback from users like you.
