The Stake DTM routine has been updated to a two-page wizard to improve the workflow and be more consistent with other stakeout routines. Enhancements to Stake DTM allow you to stake to a DTM created from the points on a layer in the current job file. You can still select a DXF or DTM file to stake to with the scroll button. You make the initial selection, and the Survey Pro 4.0 does the rest of the work for you.
The DTM Stakeout routine itself allows you to generate cut and fill values anywhere on the DTM surface. The difference between the actual measured ground surface and the DTM surface is displayed as cut and fill values. The routine can also make use of an alignment to generate station and offset data along with the cut fill data.
The routine can use points from an existing layer to generate a DTM or it can accept an existing DTM from a DXF or a precompiled DTM file, offering you greater versatility.
