Backsight setup is an enhanced routine that makes it simple and quick for you to set (or get) the current circle reading on the gun and then to perform a backsight check. The software reduces the number of steps in the routine, the number of taps, and provides clear information on Backsight status to assure you of accurate data.

All values and results are displayed on the same screen with a visual indication of what has been done. It will be easy to verify that the backsight is set up correctly before continuing.

All major functionality present in the earlier Backsight Setup routine remains. You can still independently launch the Backsight Check and Backsight Circle routines without solving a new backsight.

The big changes happen when you press the Solve button, launching the new Backsight Solved dialog box. The current backsight direction is computed from the information in the Backsight Setup screen.

When both operations are successful, you can select OK to finish solving the backsight and write the associated RAW data.
