Welcome Dialog
The Recent Job list in the Welcome routine has been enhanced to display more detail on the jobs that can be opened. You can now select a job by filename, by modified date and time, by created date and time, or by path.
Editable Quick Pick List
Now you can create a list of your most-used functions on both Recon and the Ranger. Through a dialog box, you have the opportunity to customize your own list of favorite routines, which you can use for quick access.
Control Point & File Handling
In Survey Pro 4.0 we have revised the method of handling control points, to provide you with more flexibility. You now have access to control points saved to a layer, which you can edit during a job, as well as having a redesigned Job wizard to assist with selecting control points when a Job is created.
Backsight Setup
Backsight setup is an enhanced routine that makes it simple and quick for you to set (or get) the current circle reading on the gun and then to perform a backsight check. The software reduces the number of steps in the routine, the number of taps, and provides clear information on Backsight status to assure you of accurate data.
DTM Stakeout Workflow and Display
The Stake DTM routine has been updated to a two-page wizard to improve the workflow and be more consistent with other stakeout routines. Enhancements to Stake DTM allow you to stake to a DTM created from the points on a layer in the current job file.
Staking Cut & Fill Values
With Survey Pro 4.0, you can now work with slope staking cut/fill values based on more profile nodes than in earlier Survey Pro versions. These new values reduce or eliminate the need for additional calculations in order to determine a specific cut or fill making you more efficient while putting data on the stake.
GPS Data Collection Workflow
Survey Pro 4.0 gives you improved GPS data collection capabilities with six individual enhancements, offering a wide variety of options for your application.
GPS Projection Engine
With Survey Pro 4.0, the software does more of the work for you. When you add site parameters or change your projection record, Survey Pro 4.0 automatically calculates the adjusted coordinates, shows a preview, and, upon your acceptance, applies the adjustment to the job file.
GPS Remote Elevation
The GPS remote elevation routine allows you to occupy a vertical benchmark with the rover. Applying the results of the occupation updates the base point elevation and creates a new one-point vertical localization without entering the localization routine.
GPS Status Position
There is a new dialog layout for GPS status position view, which simplifies the steps in this process.
Support for Thales Z-Max
Survey Pro GPS 4.0 provides full support for the Thales Z-Max GPS receiver.
