All-weather Construction
With an IPX4 rating, the FOCUS 4 instrument is fully field-ready. This level of all-weather construction assures you that your FOCUS 4 Mechanical Total Station will keep working in the field as long and as hard as you do.

Long-life Battery
The FOCUS 4 uses an on-board Ni-MH battery, providing a minimum of 15 hours of use when taking a full distance and angle measurement in reflectorless mode every 30 seconds.

PC Software
Connex Data Transfer and Conversion Software, developed by TDS, enables bi-directional data transfer between a total station with on-board storage and a PC. By importing and exporting a variety of data formats, Connex allows you to interface to many engineering or CAD programs. You can also quickly identify and correct errors from the field, manage your data and easily generate reports.

Field Software
For field software, the FOCUS 4 system offers two options. Either use the on-board software or connect your total station to a rugged TDS Ranger, Recon or Nomad data collector with Survey Pro software. Survey Pro offers powerful, flexible data collection capabilities that surveyors need in the field.
