The Ranger gives you the option of integrated Bluetooth and 802.11 wireless, so you can connect to your field equipment without bulky cables. The CompactFlash (CF) slots allow you to add GPS, GPRS, digital cameras, bar-code scanners and other CF devices. The Secure Digital (SD) slot lets you increase data storage to handle larger jobs and is SDIO-enabled.
The Ranger meets rigorous MIL-STD-810F standards for drops, vibration, humidity, altitude and extreme temperatures. And with an IP67 rating, it’s impervious to water and dust, keeping your data safe. For heavy-duty data-collection in a heavy-duty handheld, the Ranger is the way to go.

Windows Mobile 5
The Ranger's operating system is Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0. Run the Mobile version of all your favorite programs including PowerPoint and Outlook. Take advantage of the ability to run thousands of software programs designed for this OS.

Expansion slots
The Ranger's two CompactFlash (CF) slots allow you to add GPS, GPRS, bar-code scanners and other CF devices. Use the Secure Digital (SD) slot to add data storage and SDIO devices.
Go Wireless
You have the option of integrated Bluetooth and 802.11g wireless. The Ranger now comes in two models, the 300X and the 500X, to give you the choice of adding the options you want.
PowerBoot Module
A lithium-ion battery pack keeps your Ranger going strong day after day. With normal use, the Ranger's PowerBoot Module provides 30 hours of power. Recharging time is significantly reduced with the use of lithium-ion batteries—4.5 hours for full recharge and two hours for 80% recharge.

Ranger NX Model
