Tripod Data Systems (TDS) offers a one-year extended warranty for all new Nikon total stations. The Extended Warranty must be purchased at the same time the new total station is initially purchased and is non-renewable.

Limitations
Depending on hardware failure, TDS has the option to:
- supply customer replaceable parts
- provide send-in factory repair service
- provide carry-in repair service to a TDS Authorized Service Provider
- provide replacement of the product
A Nikon extended warranty does not cover replacement of consumable parts such as cables, user accessible batteries, or accessories.
Theft, fire, and the limitations and exclusions listed in the original factory warranty are not covered.
An extended warranty:
- must be purchased when the new Nikon total station is initially purchased
- is non-renewable
- is available in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada only.

Sales Process
Your Nikon dealer has registration forms for the Nikon extended warranty. This form must accompany the original purchase order the dealer submits to TDS.
TDS will issue an Extended Warranty Certificate directly to the customer. Please allow four to six weeks for delivery. Also, TDS advises you to retain your sales receipt as proof of purchase.
