| Graphical Data Views |
You can now see the field data that you are editing. The map is linked to many functions for easy
selection and fast editing |
| Raw Data Graphical Views |
The raw data graphical views show the collection of the data as defined by the raw data for the file. You can see which measurements were taken from which setup. This makes error analysis much faster and easier |
| Faster Transfer Protocols |
ForeSight DXM can use USB via Microsoft ActiveSync to transfer files and manage data collectors. See the files on the data collector and even select multiple files to download at one time. |
| Multiple File Export Formats |
Export files for CAD or other program use. Formats supported include LandXML, DXF, ASCII, FBK and many more. Both raw data conversions and coordinate file conversions are available. |
| File Conversions that support Job file lines |
Now, when you export to LandXML or DXF, the lines that are an integral part of the Job file get transferred to the exported file. This means that lines drawn in the field can easily be sent to CAD without having to use Auto Linework commands. |
| Manage field data using the project file |
You can link multiple Job files to a project and store finished data from the Job files in the project file. The project file can also be used to extract data from CAD files for use in the field |
| Simple COGO routines |
You can check data using the basic COGO tools provided. This makes checking data and identifying errors easier and faster. |
| Integrated geodetic support |
ForeSight DXM supports geodetic data in Job files and allows for management of that data. Differences of projections between Job files and project can be easily managed. |
| Basic Adjustments |
Translate, rotate and scale are all provided to assist in producing the data the way it is needed. If a backsight setup is incorrect, use the rotate tool to fix the points instead of clumsy raw data editing and regeneration. |
| Automatic archiving |
Files can be automatically archived when downloaded. This provides a valuable backup file in case errors are made while editing. You can also pack up an entire project including all the supporting files into one, easy to manage file. |
| Point name conflict resolution |
ForeSight DXM has several methods to deal with multiple points with the same name. This makes managing data from different data collectors easier and more accurate. |
