TDS ForeSight DXM (Data eXchange Manager) computer-aided office surveying software lets you bridge the data management gap between field data collection and computer-aided design (CAD) software. ForeSight DXM allows easy data transfer from Survey Pro software to a laptop or PC so you can display survey data graphically. It also helps you manage project files, checks data for accuracy and completeness, provides advanced yet easy-to-use editing tools, and prepares your data for field survey or CAD development.

Like Survey Pro, ForeSight DXM is designed for land surveyors-with an intuitive look and feel that works the way you do. ForeSight DXM provides robust features for transferring survey data and lets you view it graphically-making it easier to isolate errors and make sure your field data is complete.

Efficient data management
You can enter control data for a graphical preview and transfer it to your TDS data collector for use in the field. Then use ForeSight DXM's project file to efficiently manage your collected data. And the graphical views allow you to see the data as it was laid out, making it easier to isolate errors.

Export points and lines to most CAD formats
ForeSight DXM lets you export Survey Pro job files and points from your data collector to most popular CAD formats, with all the visible lines and points you created in the field. And you can send that picture to CAD with all the lines intact—you don't have to process a single linework command.

Coordinate Systems Editor
With the fully functional Coordinate Systems Editor, you can edit and customize user CSD Sites and Zones. This function lets you create custom zones, geoids, datums and ellipsoids for use in Survey Pro or ForeSight DXM.

Editing tools
In the office, you can use ForeSight DXM to easily edit your files to ensure your field data is clear and understandable. Use the COGO tools to check your data, and use the graphical raw data with terrestrial or GPS data. Translate, rotate and scale tools also let you adjust data, and you can even modify geodetic systems and localizations to readjust coordinates.

Integrate with the tools you use
ForeSight DXM works with the surveying hardware and software tools you already use-both in the office and in the field. You can import and export TDS job, coordinate and raw data files, plus TDS point lists, DXF, DC and text files. ForeSight DXM even works with LandXML files.

Complete geodetic support
ForeSight DXM supports coordinate systems and GPS data without complicated controls. Efficient wizards and intuitive controls lets you easily manage your data. ForeSight DXM makes it easy to combine total station and GPS data into one file.

Basic Adjustments
An optional module in ForeSight DXM, Basic Adjustments performs traverse adjustment using angle and compass rule plus basic support for adjustment of sideshots. A traverse adjustment and closure report is provided with this module which requires ForeSight DXM 3.4 to function.
