TDS ForeSight computer-aided office surveying software helps you analyze, adjust, plot and manage your field data so you can prepare for your project's next phase. ForeSight's easy-to-use tools help you complete your projects faster and easier—at the office and in the field.

ForeSight's expanded CAD tools include basic point editing, DTM surfaces and road layouts. You can use ForeSight to produce complete, artistic plats. And ForeSight gives you multiple recording and exporting options—including AutoCAD DXF and DWG files. And ForeSight DXM gives you even more capabilities, including integrated geodetic tools, fast USB transfers and more.

Like TDS Survey Pro, ForeSight is designed for land surveyors—with an intuitive look and feel that works the way you do. ForeSight reads linework commands, automatically draws lines with curves, and directly supports lines drawn in TDS JOB files.

COGO tools
ForeSight includes a complete set of COGO tools that let you perform all your surveying calculations. Basic COGO tools include inverse in multiple modes, closure report, area and corner angle. And these COGO tools are custom-made for surveyors' needs—they work the way you do.

3D views
ForeSight gives you a complete, 3D view of your project. You can create contours with a simple click of your mouse. You can also adjust interval, color and labeling—you can even view the surface in 3D with shades and colors—making it easy to check for spikes and holes in your surface. ForeSight computes volumes using DTM-to-datum or DTM-to-DTM methods. Plus, when you integrate ForeSight with the Roads module, you can calculate volume using a road surface.

Road Layout module
The optional Road Layout module lets you make alignments and generate points and offsets. You can enter alignments manually or import DXF, DWG or TDS Survey Pro files. And the module makes it easy to incorporate established road designs into your project—you can load road data files into your TDS data collector for use in the field. You can even generate a 3D model of the road for volumes and 3D viewing.

Auto linework
Let ForeSight draw parts of your job. Using a TDS data collector such as the Recon or Ranger and incorporating linework commands as you go, ForeSight can automatically draw lines with curves. ForeSight can also separate data into layers so you can organize your job more quickly.

Easy-to-use point names
Organize your data more easily by naming points. Point names define lines and sets of common points quickly. ForeSight can import and export both JOB files and ASCII files with alphanumeric point names.

Draft a perfect plat
ForeSight gives you all the tools you need to generate perfect project plats. ForeSight's CAD tools are easy to use, and they're just as powerful and flexible as traditional CAD tools. The Plot Wizard is an easy-to-use tool that helps you set up your plats—or you can use Plot Wizard tools individually to create more advanced plats. And you can use the DynaView tool to specify the layers you want to display—you can even create multiple layer sets to customize your plat's look.
