Corvallis, Ore.—April 6, 2004—Tripod Data Systems (TDS) today announced it will add Nikon survey products to its existing tech suppport message board within the RPLS Web site. The site provides a discussion forum for issues, suggestions or questions about TDS, and TDS and Nikon products.
TDS is the U.S. distributor for Nikon survey products in the United States, including sales, support and service. The TDS/Nikon message board, which can be found at www.tdsway.com/rpls, is monitored daily by TDS technical support staff, who respond to messages as needed.
"We've supported Nikon survey products for almost a year now, and our tech support team is an experienced, knowledgeable source of product information," said Daryl Stewart, TDS Nikon product manager. "The TDS/Nikon RPLS board is a way for our customers to access this free support online-and they can benefit from the experiences and solutions posted by other customers."
In addition to the TDS/Nikon message board, the RPLS Web site hosts a general message board and message boards by other equipment manufacturers. Posts include a wide range of topics, including discussions of surveying practices, standards and equipment.
