Corvallis, Ore.—September 23, 2003—Tripod Data Systems (TDS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB), and Trimble Financial Services today announced the TDS Lease Program, featuring zero-percent financing on Nikon total stations. The 36-month lease requires a 10 percent down payment with a $1 purchase option at the end of the lease term. Customers can also buy other Nikon and TDS products and include them in the lease.
"We are continuing Nikon's zero-percent financing offer to make it easier for customers to fit a Nikon total station in their budget," said Bill Martin, TDS director of marketing. "With their fast measurement speed, precise optics and long battery life, Nikon total stations offer surveyors excellent performance and reliability."
Nikon total stations from TDS are available in three product lines to cover a range of survey needs and budgets:
- DTM-801 Series — Available in 1-, 2- and 3-second models, with an industry-standard PCMCIA data card slot for fast, easy data transfer between the total station and a laptop or desktop PC.
- DTM-502 Series — Available in 1-, 2- and 3-second models, with a standard 33X telescope that delivers more magnification than any other total station for brighter, clearer images.
- DTM-302 Series — Featuring easy-to-use onboard data collection and stakeout functions for up to 10,000 points and a long-life battery with 16 hours of nonstop operation-tops in the industry.
- NPL-302 Series — Uses focused-beam technology in prism mode as well as in prismless mode, for applications where a prism can't be used.
