Tripod Data Systems Names Kent Hutson National Accident Investigation Sales Manager

Corvallis, Ore.—July 22, 2003—Tripod Data Systems (TDS) announced today it has named Kent Hutson as national accident investigation sales manager. Hutson begins his new position immediately and reports to Tom Stevens, TDS sales director.
Hutson will be responsible for sales activities of Nikon accident investigation products through TDS. In June, Trimble, TDS' parent company, finalized a joint venture agreement with Nikon Corporation by which TDS will serve as the distributor for Nikon survey and related products in the United States, including sales, support and service. Prior to joining TDS, Hutson spent 22 years with Nikon as a regional sales manager.
"Kent has proven sales management experience and a thorough knowledge of Nikon's product line," Stevens said. "His expertise in accident investigation processes makes him a valuable resource for our sales staff, dealers and end users."
