Corvallis, Ore. and Gaithersburg, Md.—March 18, 2003—Tripod Data Systems (TDS) and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) announced today they will present a one-day real-time kinematic (RTK)/global positioning system (GPS) training class Monday, March 31, at the ACSM-ASPRS Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. A TDS instructor will teach the class.
"This session is designed to give surveyors beginning to intermediate RTK/GPS skills," said Scott Fisher, TDS training manager. "We'll be using TDS Ranger hardware and TDS Survey Pro GPS software to provide practical, hands-on training."
The class is limited to the first 65 people who arrive at the classroom; it is not possible to register in advance. Tuition is included as part of the conference registration fee. The ACSM event coordinators, not TDS, will handle all the details for this event. More information is available at http://www.acsm.net.
