Corvallis, Ore.—July 9, 2002—Tripod Data Systems (TDS) announced today it will be offering two new user training sessions. The new courses will be held October 8-11 in Orlando, Fla. and November 4-8 in Corvallis, Ore.
"These classes are designed to help our customers better use and understand their TDS software," said Scott Fisher, TDS training manager.
The Orlando class in October will be held at the Holiday Inn Kissimmee Downtown. Class participants will receive discounted room rates. On days one and two participants choose between Windows CE (Ranger)/Pocket PC (Compaq iPAQ) or DOS (HP 48GX and Husky) data collector classes. On days three and four they choose either a two-day ForeSight PC software class or a one-day RTK/GPS class. The RTK class will be taught using a Ranger Windows CE data collector. All courses are $250 per day. Attendees who register for both the data collection and ForeSight two-day classes receive a $250 discount.
The Corvallis class in November will be held at TDS headquarters. The first two days will be a data collector class using Windows CE (Ranger) or Pocket PC (Compaq iPAQ). Day three is an RTK/GPS class. The final two days of the course will cover ForeSight PC software. The cost for this course is $200 per day. Attendees can choose the days and classes that work best for them.
Both courses will begin daily at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. Attendees should bring their TDS Ranger or Compaq iPAQ to the training. More detailed information is available in the Support section of the TDS website at www.tdsway.com.
